Swedish Massage
Swedish
massage is the foundation for many other types of
western massage and was developed by a Swedish
physiologist, Henri Peter Ling, in the 17th century. It
uses a variety of soothing stokes with firm but gentle
pressure to create relaxation, improve circulation,
reduce tension, improve flexibility, ease aching muscles
and aid the removal of toxins from the tissues.
The effect
of the massage is dictated by the speed and pressure of
the strokes and can be both relaxing and invigorating
depending on the desired results. It is highly
effective in relieving stress and tension in the body &
mind and therefore plays an important part in improving
mental & physical health & promoting general wellbeing.
The
treatment can focus on the whole body or be adjusted to
concentrate on specific problem areas. Each treatment
is tailored to meet your individual needs.
A Swedish Massage is given
on a massage table using a basic oil. Treatments
typically last for 1 hour or 1.5 hours.

Holistic Massage
A holistic approach to
massage looks to treat the person as a whole, taking
into account both physical & psychological factors that
may affect an individual’s health.
Traditional Swedish
massage and acupressure techniques are used to soothe,
relax and detoxify the body, helping to restore balance,
decrease stress and increase health & vitality in the
body & mind. This enables the body’s own healing
mechanisms to work more effectively, making massage a
very effective means of combating stress-related
conditions that can occur when the body is out of
balance.
The treatment can focus on
the whole body or be adjusted to concentrate on specific
problem areas, with a varying degree of pressure applied
depending upon your preferences and the desired
results. Each treatment is tailored to meet your
individual needs.
A holistic Massage is
given on a massage table using a basic oil. Treatments
typically last for 1 hour or 1.5 hours.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a
type of massage focussing on the deeper layers of
muscles, with the aim of relieving chronic patterns of
tension in the body.
When we are stressed,
toxins build up in our tissues & muscles, blocking the
circulation and causing the muscles to contract and
develop knots. These knots can then cause pain,
inflammation and limited movement in the muscles and
joints.
Deep Tissue Massage uses
many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish
Massage but the pressure is generally more intense with
slower more focussed strokes being used to break down
knots and tension in specific problem areas.

This type
of massage is especially helpful for easing chronically
tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, lower &
upper back tightness and sore shoulders, and is very
effective in relieving pain and promoting relaxation. It
is advisable to book a course of treatments for long
lasting results.
A Deep Tissue Massage is

Natural Face Lift Massage
The popular Natural Face
Lift Massage uses a series of highly effective
techniques drawn from Japanese & Indian face massage
which act as a natural face lift with no need for
surgery, helping you to look and feel younger.
Many
people suffer facial tension which builds up in the facial muscles
causing puffiness, age spots, lines & wrinkles. Facial reflexology
is used to treat the meridians and encourage the healthy balance &
flow of chi throughout the whole body, while acupressure techniques
produce the equivalent of an acupuncture face lift without the
insertion of needles. Highly refined & gentle hand & finger
manipulation is also used to treat the surface & deep facial muscles
to give you a more radiant & youthful appearance.
Toxins are removed, blood circulation
increased, facial muscles toned & strengthened and the condition of
