Stephanie Hooff |
Stephanie has been a practicing Massage Therapist for the past 6
years and is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association.
With
a degree in Psychology and an
ITEC Diploma in Massage Therapy from The College of Holistic Massage
UK, Stephanie has since continued to enhance her skills and
knowledge through several professional development courses. She is
fully trained in Holistic, Swedish, Indian Head, Deep Tissue and
Natural Face Lift Massage and offers treatments that are tailored
to each client’s individual requirements.
A
passion for travel has seen her journey
extensively in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and India, gaining
in the process a keen interest in complementary therapies and
attending courses in Thai massage, tai chi, reiki, ayurvedic
medicine and meditation. She has also attended several yoga
retreats, recently practicing and studying yoga at the Sivananda
Ashram in Kerala, India (www.sivananda.org).
She currently keeps up a regular practice of yoga at home and enjoys
using her experiences and knowledge of eastern practices to enhance
her own therapeutic massage work.

Stephanie has
also gained a wide range of experience working as a Massage
Therapist in health clubs, clinics, private homes and offices and
has also worked at various corporate and sporting events, including
business exhibitions and the London Marathon, where she gave post
event massage to participating runners.
She
has also participated in various types of charity & voluntary work,
recently returning from a volunteer placement in Nepal, where she
spent four weeks helping to build a new orphanage in a small village
just outside Kathmandu (www.aidcamps.org).
She managed to raise a substantial amount of sponsorship money for
the placement through giving massage treatments to clients and
acquaintances, and regularly gave very welcome massages to fellow
volunteers after a hard day on the orphanage building site!
Stephanie also
enjoys playing tennis in her spare time, having played for her
borough and county as a junior, and she keeps up a regular practice of
running, circuit training & aerobics to enhance her health and
fitness and the quality of care she can give to her clients. With
her passion for helping people and attending to their physical &
psychological needs, Stephanie looks forward enthusiastically to
further self development and continuing her career as a successful
Massage Therapist. |
